Also two of the best tapas restaurants in Barcelona are Taverna Basca Irati and Cerveceria Catalana, if you’re in the city defintely try them out. (I’m not receiving any kind of kickback or anything like that, it’s just a pure unbiased opinion).
With this all said, Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in Europe, but when it comes to finding a Crossfit Affiliate, it’s a complete thud.
There are no Crossfit affiliates or CF friendly globo gyms in the city.
With it’s liberal clothing policy at it’s local beaches, one would think Barcelona locals would want to be in fit shape, but I’m a little surprised this city doesn’t have an affiliate.
However, Spain is not without any affiliates, there are a few CF affiliates in Madrid, which is a good distance away.
If you’re looking for a quick run in Barcelona, I suggest running along the water at the end of the Las Ramblas strip.
Other than that, enjoy the nightlife and the food Barcelona has to offer. You’re probably on vacation if you’re in Barcelona.
Crossfit is coming to Barcelona very soon! I’ll keep everyone updated.
This might be old news to some folks, but Crossfit Barcelona is here(site is in Spanish).
Directions to the place compliments of my friend Joanna at GlobalWODproject. All you need to know is find your way to a (red) L1 stop and head towards the Arc de Triomf stop. You’ll come out of the metro facing the Arc de Troimf, but promptly make a u-turn and cross the street towards the diagonal “Carrer de Ribes” a street lined with markets/cafes/bars on the left and an open walkway in the middle. Cars cannot drive down Carrer de Ribes.
